Dalaman
The town of Dalaman is located in the Mugla province on the southwestern coast of Turkey. Dalaman is both a district and the main town of the district. This popular coastal town, situated close to Fethiye, is known for its scenic beaches, natural marvels and ancient ruins. The mud baths and hot springs of Dalaman, located around the Dalyan River, are one of its main attractions. A dip in the spring water is believed to make you look 10 years younger and provide relief from pain and aches. Dalaman is a hub for adventure sports, paragliding, snorkeling, swimming or scuba diving. The picturesque town of Dalaman lies close to the Blue Lagoon at Oludeniz, a stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site with lush green valleys and clear blue waters. Must Know Before You Travel to Dalaman
- Buses and taxis are available to get around town. Rechargeable Kent-Kart are recommended for buses which are available from 3 vendors only.
- The nearby resort towns are popular for staying as Dalaman does not offer many accommodation options. Dalyan is 20km from Dalaman and a good place for hotels. Sarigerme is 13km from Dalaman, an inclusive village ideal for families. Many people also stay in Fethiye and take a day trip to Dalaman.
- Dalaman does not offer exuberant nightlife to tourists. However, one can spot a couple of bars and clubs open till late near the beaches or around the Göcek and Dalyan districts.
